Creative Courses & Workshops – 2016

Creative Courses & Workshops – 2016

Well here we are again at the beginning of a new year, and the good thing about a new beginning is that you can start afresh and either leave behind old half-done projects and embark on something different, or breathe new life into them with a renewed purpose to create something remarkable and unique.

Whatever you fancy turning your hand to, there’s bound to be a course or workshop across our region that will fulfil that need; and if you want to venture further afield there are short breaks and holidays that cater for all sorts of creative pursuits.

Just before Christmas we stumbled upon a new pottery, which had just started up in Shoreham. It is located behind Cafe Artisan in the Tarmount quarter and runs workshops for both adults and children. So if you like rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands mucky, while creating your own original piece of work, this is for you! Call or email for further details, or find them on facebook: 07938 378215;; facebook/shorehampottery.

Another delight to note down in your diary is ‘Singing in the Age of Shakespeare’, a song workshop, taking place on Sunday 24th April in Shoreham as part of Shoreham Wordfest’s Celebrating Shakespeare weekend. See p.60 for further details, more information nearer the time on
