The Green Tree Gallery
– an art trail under one roof
With more than 200 artists and makers on its books, The Green Tree Gallery at Borde Hill Garden, Haywards Heath can offer art lovers the diversity of an Art Trail but under a single roof!
The Gallery showcases a variety of affordable work by mainly local artists and makers, including paintings, prints, sculpture, glass, ceramics, textiles and jewellery.
Whilst the Gallery’s displays are ever-changing, from 25th March to 5th May it celebrates the British love of gardening with its first exhibition of the year, entitled ‘To Linger in a Garden Fair’.
This exhibition features work in many media by Elda Abramson, Jackie Bishop, Nichola Campbell, Mike Cheetham, Jeff Josephine Designs, Min Maude, and Liz Toole.
Hot on the heels of this exhibition, The Green Tree Gallery is once again taking part in the popular Borde Hill Sculpture Exhibition (12th May to 2nd October). The sculptures are displayed on a trail through the 17-acre gardens with the Green Tree Gallery housing smaller-scale sculptures suited to a domestic environment.
The Green Tree Gallery is housed in a barn close to the main entrance of Borde Hill Garden (no garden entry fee) and is open Tuesday to Saturday. There is plentiful free parking on site as well as Jeremy’s Restaurant and Café Elvira.
