Chalk Gallery, Lewes
This Autumn the Chalk Gallery features three awesome artists and hosts an end of year party on Saturday 1st December from 2 to 4pm to toast 2018.
The season begins with a new exhibition in the gallery on 24th September as Susan Lynch presents her latest abstract paintings. This unmistakable artist works expressively using palette knives to harness her unique energy with colour.
This is followed by a display of Ursula Stone’s stunning inner landscape paintings and exquisite Chinese ink life drawings from 15th October to 4th November postponed from earlier in the year.
Please note the gallery is closed on Sunday 5th November for the Bonfire Night celebrations in Lewes.
There is a complete change in the gallery on 6th November and ‘Winter Draws In’, an outstanding collection of Lyndsey Smith’s original watercolour paintings which Cards for Good Causes uses to raise money for SASBAH, a charity that provides opportunities for young adults with disabilities in order for them to get into regular work. Lyndsey will be delighted to invite you to her ‘Meet the Artist’ from 1pm onwards in the gallery on Saturday 10th November.
On 26th November, the Chalk Gallery’s Christmas window is revealed and all the artists warmly invite you to join them for some seasonal cheer at their end of year party on Saturday 1st December from 2pm to 4pm. The gallery closes for the Christmas and New Year holidays at 5pm on Sunday 23rd December and re-opens on Monday 7th January 2019.
